Jakarta, The Doctoral Program in Economics is once again holding a dissertation defense for doctoral students. This time, Eko Agus Susanto is participating in the Dissertation Defense (Results) with a strategic theme related to public policy and transportation safety.

The dissertation defense was held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, starting at 2:00 PM WIB until finished, and was conducted academically with the involvement of a team of examiners consisting of experienced professors and doctors in the fields of economics, public policy, and transportation.

In his dissertation entitled “Transportation Safety System Policy”, Eko Agus Susanto examines transportation safety in depth.

The trial was led by Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, CIRR, CMA, CPM as the Chief Examiner, with Prof. Dr. Eleonora Sofilda, M.Si as the Promoter, and Dr. Tri Kunawangsih P., M.Si as the Co-Promoter. The examiners consisted of Dr. Lavlimatria Esya, M.Si and Dr. Muhammad Yudhi Lutfi, SE., MM.

Through this research, it is hoped that the results of Eko Agus Susanto’s study can provide scientific contributions and applicable policy recommendations, effective public policy governance.

This dissertation defense is an important part of the academic process of the Doctoral Program in Economics, and also reflects the university’s commitment to producing quality research that is relevant to national development needs.
