Jakarta, November 14, 2025: Luci Irawati’s dissertation proposal defense was successfully held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM WIB. During the defense, Luci presented her research on the theme “Building a Sustainable Regulatory Framework.” This theme is considered highly relevant given the rapid development of digital financial services and the ever-changing regulatory challenges.

The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, CIRR, CMA, CPM as the Chief Examiner. Also present were Prof. Muhammad Zilal Hamzah, Ph.D as Promoter and Dr. Soeharjoto, M.Si as Co-Promoter, who provided academic in-depth study on the theoretical basis and direction of the research methodology. The examining team was also strengthened by Dr. Nirdukita Ratnawati, ME and Dr. Syofriza Sofyan, ME, while Dr. Sisca served as the notary. The diverse composition of examiners provided a multidisciplinary perspective that enriched the substance of the study.

In her presentation, Luci emphasized the importance of a regulatory framework for financial system stability. The reviewers provided various strategic input, ranging from strengthening the analytical framework to mapping the regulatory ecosystem, further enhancing the research’s contribution to the digital financial sector.

Following a question-and-answer session and academic discussion, Luci Irawati was declared to have passed the proposal examination and officially moved on to the next stage, the Dissertation Examination. This success marks a significant step for Luci in completing her doctoral studies and making a scientific contribution to strengthening digital financial services regulations in Indonesia.
